01About this policy
Magic Allstars Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on magicallstarscheer.com. This policy explains the website services involved and how to ask questions or manage browser storage. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains personal information, recipients and your rights.
Cookies are small records stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local or session storage, tracking pixels and tags that send information when a page or feature is used. A service can receive technical information even when it does not store a cookie.
02Why the website uses them
Requested functions: signing in, keeping an account session, basket and checkout functions, and security or fraud prevention. Some functions cannot work properly if their necessary storage is blocked.
Preferences: remembering relevant settings or choices when a feature provides them.
Measurement: understanding how the website is used and how visitors interact with its content or shop. Google Analytics and Google Site Kit integrations are present on the site, alongside WooCommerce and Jetpack integrations.
Not every cookie is strictly necessary merely because its provider supplies a useful service. The purpose and actual configuration determine the applicable rules.
03Services used on this website
WordPress: account authentication and related settings. Common software cookie names include wordpress_logged_in_ and wp-settings- with identifiers appended. They relate to particular login or account features, rather than being a claim that every visitor receives them.
WooCommerce: shopping sessions and basket information. Its standard basket cookies include woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart and wp_woocommerce_session_ with an identifier appended. Cookies depend on the shop features and actions used.
Google Analytics and Site Kit: website measurement and interaction events. Analytics can use identifiers such as _ga and _ga_ followed by a property identifier. Site Kit connects the website to relevant Google services.
Jetpack and WooCommerce analytics integrations: scripts supporting connected site or store functions and measurement may be present. The rules depend on the particular function, not simply on the Jetpack or WooCommerce name.
Other optional tools: OptinMonster and feedback integrations, WooCommerce source attribution, and hosting measurement scripts may be present. Their optional scripts are controlled through the relevant Statistics or Marketing choice.
Google reCAPTCHA: integration is present for automated-abuse and form protection. It may process device and interaction information when protecting a form. Google provides further details in its privacy information.
Embedded media and external services: video players, social content or other embedded features can contact the provider when used. Following a normal external link takes you to a separate site with its own privacy and cookie information. See Google’s privacy information and Automattic’s privacy information for their processing.
04How long cookies last
Session cookies normally last for the browser session. Persistent cookies have an expiry and may remain until that expiry or until removed. Local storage can remain until cleared by the browser, the site or the user.
Duration depends on the feature, provider configuration and browser. Returning to a site may refresh some expiries. Browser privacy controls may shorten a provider’s stated lifetime. A cookie’s expiry is separate from how long information already sent to a service is retained.
The examples above identify standard software families, not an exhaustive record of cookies placed in every browsing journey. You can inspect the current site entries and expiry details in your browser’s site-data controls. Contact us if you need an explanation of a particular entry.
05Consent, objections and your choices
Where prior consent is required, optional storage or access must wait for your agreement. Continuing to browse or accepting the programme’s terms is not cookie consent.
Some narrowly defined uses can qualify for a legal exception. For example, a qualifying statistical use still requires clear information and a simple, free way to object. We do not treat all analytics as automatically exempt.
Use Accept optional cookies, Reject optional cookies or Manage preferences in our cookie panel. Optional Statistics and Marketing categories start switched off. You can reopen Cookie settings using the floating cookie-preferences button to change or withdraw your choice. Our choice cookie, wpconsent_preferences, remembers the selection for 30 days in that browser.
Browser controls let you block or remove site cookies and other stored data. Look for Privacy, Cookies or Site data in your browser settings. Removing storage may sign you out, clear a basket or reset preferences. Browser controls alone do not replace an on-site consent or objection mechanism where one is required.
Removing a cookie does not automatically erase information already received by a provider. You can raise a personal-information request using our Privacy Policy. Different browsers and devices have separate storage and settings.
